The Caged Queen

The Caged Queen is a collaborative work with artist Amanda Rosenberg (@amandaphilia) centered around a woman trapped in current-day society within the United States. This piece builds the narrative of a queen long forgotten, with blackberry bramble adorning her cage. Her cage is pretty and presentable, but its stabs and cuts her skin as she writhes within it. Here she represents thousands of women across the country as she screams for freedom and autonomy.
